MANZWC (Muslim Association of New Zealand Women's Council)

The Muslim Association of New Zealand Incorporated (MANZ) proudly introduces the MANZ Women’s Council, a dedicated body committed to uplifting and representing the voices of Muslim women across our community. Inspired by the Qur’anic affirmation of equality— “Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women… are allies of one another” (Qur’an 9:71)—the Women’s Council works to empower women and girls, ensuring their perspectives shape MANZ’s mission and initiatives in New Zealand.

Our Mission

The MANZ Women’s Council strives to support the spiritual, social, and personal growth of Muslim women, fostering a space where they can thrive as leaders, learners, and contributors. We aim to bridge the unique experiences of women into MANZ’s broader efforts, from education and advocacy to community service, while promoting unity and strength within the Ummah.
